Today at 10:30am we finally received the long-awaited Travel Authorization. Our life has been exactly like that of an expectant mom, wondering when was she going to begin to go into labor. Now that we have the date, the clock is really ticking!
Originally we had planned to leave two weeks after receiving notice, having us leave December 4th. We are being blessed by someone who is getting our plane tickets for us. They are using frequent flyer miles, and as a result are having trouble finding tickets during the busy travel month of December. So we may actually leave the day after Thanksgiving!
Stay posted...and please pray we'll get all arrangements (and money) together before we leave.
We have so much to be thankful for, this Thanksgiving!

Oh wow!! As I read your update I thought you were going to say b/c of busy December you wouldn't be able to travel until January, so when you said Thanksgiving, I nearly fell over. That is incredible! I just re-found your blog yesterday, so it was fun to get caught up and find out that you are about to leave. Have a wonderful trip! I will be praying for you and your family waiting back home.

Congratulations! I thought it was far worse than being pregnant-at least with pregnancy the timeline is predictable. Your new daughter looks lovely, and I hope that everything goes well.
