In transit to "May guo" (America)

Joy was quite a little soldier today. She did not want to spend a lot of time talking about today being the last day she would be in China, nor about how she was feeling. In fact, in her nervous compensation she would skip and play and tease.

We had a great flight, and are having a great airport experience (if there is such a thing). This airport in Seoul is deluxe. If you'd like you can have massage, a shower, delicious food, and they have even brought tourism to you. There are little sections in the airport called "Traditional Korean Cultural Experience". They teach you to make Korean crafts, watch a tea ceremony and explain Korean customs. Here is a picture of three ladies in traditional Korean costume playing ancient instruments. I wish you could also hear the haunting and lovely sound.

Finally , Max wanted to include a typical experience of the trip: Amy at the computer updating the blog.

We will be back in Los Angeles in about 12 hours. We are very excited to see our family. Joy is nervous; yet excited, about the whole thing.

Okay, more later: Joy wants a quick chance on QQ before we board the plane...

  1. So excited when I read this and checked the time-I think you are landing right now! Thinking of you and praying.
