I thought it would be interesting to show where Joy is. Tianjin is just Southeast of Beijing. Max is currently on a plane traveling 2 hours south to Shanghai where he will co-host the Pepperdine MBA students on an International Program there.
On a yahoo group, another mother of an older child adopted from China posted an interesting link to a you tube video of a Chinese soap opera. It is interesting in how it portrays an impression of orphans and child romance. We certainly know that this may not be the widespread belief of all Chinese; but this would be what Joy has been exposed to:
