Tianjin Cultural Center

This was a fun part of the day: to see the Tianjin Chinese cultural Center. Joy shopped for gifts for her family. Tianjin is known for clay sculptures, so she selected one for each sibling. Then she chose red silk pajamas for her "Mom" (I'm very excited!) She showed them all to us when we spoke and saw each other on Skype.

We are learning some things that Joy likes and doesn't like: She loves pizza and ice cream, sky blue and dolphins (she's never seen a beach). She doesn't like noodles and reptiles.
